On St Kilda, We Remember
13 November 2011
Every year a small service of remembrance is held in the Kirk on St Kilda which is attended by those resident on the island.
We observed a two minute silence to reflect on the sacrifice of service men and women from conflicts past and present. A wreath was then laid in honour of those who have suffered or died in war.
Of course, it is also a time to remember those who lost their lives in the plane crashes on St Kilda during World War Two.
We Will Remember Them.
