Every morning the men of St Kilda would get together outside one of the houses. This was called a 'Parliament' and was used to discuss what, if anything, should be done that day. This daily meeting was part of a group system of sharing jobs and things like ropes and …interestingly, during work parties, which happen now, this same system often happens!
