New season new faces!

2 May 2018
It’s the start of the season and with it comes some new faces and old! Craig Stanford returns for his second year as our resident Archaeologist, while Ciaran Hatsell takes up the post of Seabird and Marine Ranger. Ciaran joins the team having spent four seasons on Fair Isle working at the Bird Observatory Completing the team is John Sikorsky who takes up the post of Ranger. John has been to Kilda a few times and is a talented musician and all-round entertainer. It’s been a mixed start to the season weather-wise, with some early gales hampering the team making it out to the island but a glorious day on Friday 20th April gave us the opportunity to get out and about and explore the isle. It's a pleasure to be out here and we'll try and bring you regular updates from our the season ahead.
